Coalition and the Westminster System

Posted: April 25, 2011 in Election, politics

Here’s a good primer on the Westminster Parliamentary System (…that’s us Canadians…) and what it says about who has the right to form a government.

It’s worth reading.  It uses humour.  It even uses a comic strip!!

The rules of government have suffered so much confusion as a result of the Conservative con job that most people have been misled as to how it works.

The only person who has attempted a coalition in the last decade is Stephen Harper.  I don’t care that he did it.  He had every right to.  I care about the fact that he’s lying about it.
